Speaker Series Event – “Straight Talk”: Bedford Brothers, Fathers, and Police Officers Discuss Their Personal and Professional Journeys

How does a family member’s substance abuse affect the entire family? What is the “Ripple Effect”? How can teens prepare themselves when confronted with the choice of partying? What are the repercussions and how will they effect their future? Is the marijuana that’s sold today the same as when we were kids? Find out the answers to these questions as well as other facts by attending BeBOLD’s (Bedford – Building Our Lives Drug-free) monthly speaker series event on Monday, November 26th from 7-8pm at the Bedford Public Library in the McAllaster Room.

Presenters and Bedford dads, Brian O’Keefe, of the Manchester Police Department and Keith Dillon, of the Nashua Police Department, give their personal accounts on the “Ripple Effect” of substance abuse from their perspectives as brothers, fathers and police officers.
