BeBOLD Scholarship in Memory of Jim Scanlon

Every year, BeBOLD awards a $1,000 scholarship to one BHS graduating senior. This senior must be entering an accredited university with a focus on Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Pre-Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Nursing.

Interested students must submit a video no longer than 3 minutes or a 1-page essay describing why they passionate about healthcare with a focus on substance abuse & mental health. Past successful submissions have drawn from personal experience or passion.

Students may apply through Friday, May 8, 2026.
