BeBOLD Announces Its 2nd Annual “Bedford Goes Red” for Red Ribbon Week Campaign October 23-31

BeBOLD is looking to TURN BEDFORD RED again this year during Red Ribbon Week’s national drug prevention initiative held from October 23-31, 2018. “Bedford Goes Red” is a local, community effort sponsored by BeBOLD to support Red Ribbon Week. This year’s Red Ribbon Week campaign slogan is “Life Is Your Journey, Travel Drug-free”, and aligns with BeBOLD’s drug awareness and prevention mission in our local community.

“Last year was a tremendous first-time effort by BeBOLD to rally businesses to light up their properties in red lights and red ribbons in order to stand up against substance abuse and show support to those who are affected by substance abuse,” comments Bedford Police Chief John Bryfonski, BeBOLD’s Vice President. “We were so pleased to see the community come together and ‘go red’ with red lights and ribbons,” he added.

To support Red Ribbon Week and “Bedford Goes Red”, BeBOLD is asking local Bedford businesses and all Bedford community members to display red lights and/or red ribbons on your home or place of business during the week of October 23rd-31st.
